About LongHorn Steakhouse
George McKerrow Jr. and Brian opened the Longhorn Steakhouse in 1981 after McKerrow expressed his love for grilling to his friend. The first restaurant was opened in Atlanta, Georgia in a former adult bookstore that the two renovated. The menu offers various types of steak, including “Flo’s Filet” which is named after a former employee who loved the dish. Each Longhorn Steakhouse location employs at least two or three Grill Masters who have completed their training under the supervision of McKerrow and Brian.
